City Technology to exhibit at China's leading Oil and Gas Show

Honeywell company, City Technology will be presenting its industry leading gas sensing range for the oil and gas market at the CIPPE show in Beijing, China, from March 26-28 (Booth W14755).

As the world's leading gas sensor manufacturer, City provides high performance gas sensors with the highest reliability required to meet the stringent demands of the oil and gas industry.

The range being showcased includes the new long life oxygen sensor 4OxLL, a high-performance oxygen sensor designed to work in the most extreme environments and City's H2S and CH4 sensors which are commonly used in this environment. City's smartboard transmitter, a product manufactured in China for the APAC market, which simplifies the development of gas detection instruments will also be on show. Since its release at the end of 2014, the smartboard has been welcomed by instrument companies in Asia Pacific that lack the required expertise or resources to undertake specific projects.

Wilson Tan, Business leader in APAC, comments: "Gas detection demand in the oil & gas industry in APAC has grown tremendously, in line with continued economic growth and more stringent safety legislation. Protecting oil & gas industry workers from oxygen depletion and the hazards of toxic and flammable gases is a continuous challenge. Products like the 4OxLL oxygen sensor can deliver real advantage here as they deliver the reliability required over the life of the detector. As well as our flammable gas sensors Cat16 can meet the poison-resistance requirement clearly stated in the national standards for flammable gas detection.

"CIPPE is a great platform for City to educate end users in the oil & gas industry about the importance of gas sensors, and how City Technology products can offer them the highest levels of safety in a cost effective way."
